BALMINESS Patiently I had waited in the hope that sunset would appear despite the large bands of dark grey rain clouds that had been over most of the afternoon. And to my luck the warming low sun had been temporarily able to show itself over these softening yellow fields on this gentle and refreshing spring evening. APRIL SHOWERS A reminder of how nature can change so quickly and just how dramatic weather can appear in contrast with the landscape. A FRESH START The positive emotional uplifting power seeing a sunrise can create; fresh start to a new day, opportunity to pursue personal goals, joys or ambitions…. or even just the opportunity to be deeply grateful to be gifted another day to live. Life is a gift. The first sunset I finally got brave enough to see on my own after being in hospital for brain surgery; and was just so calming and magic to see. I felt truly welcomed to this spot on the hill during sunrise. It also felt like a moment of personal triumph and a starting point for an ongoing journey of rediscovering myself. FIELDS OF GOLD Approaching sunset as the sun found a brief moment to shine through breaks in the rain clouds on this spring day. The yellow fields softly and warmly lit in such a way that became priceless to my eyes and thoughts; when the soul feels truly comforted by nature and reminded that light will eventually break through the grey clouds again. A COMFORTING INVITATION As I stood at the top of the hill and looked across the lush green farmers field as it approached sunset; my eyes were drawn in, comfortably invited into the scene. As I peacefully watched the final light; the cloud became softly illuminated. Appearing like an arrow and further inviting and drawing me into the land Infront of me during this temporary heartwarming moment. Guildford, Surrey, UK.
HEARTWARMING FIELDS It really is so amazing how nature has this way of being able to touch your own heart in ways that go beyond just the spectacular visual moments that occur. How these soft yet powerful warming sunlit lines reach across the fields in such a vibrantly pleasant way. I also found they did not just light and warm the trees and fields; it went deeper than that, as they also seemed to ignite and warm my own soul. Guildford, Surrey, UK.
LOST SOFTLY When I had set out on my night walk; it was a clear night. Conditions soon changed as I could see dense mist approaching. It became so dense that I could only see a few metres Infront of me, yet despite this; it really felt quite soothing to be out in. Ash Ranges, Ash, Surrey, UK
MELLOWED The warming soft hues of the low sun that had found a break in the clouds; moments when things just seem to align so elegantly. The spring fields softly glowing on an afternoon when even the temperatures felt just right to sit at the top of the hill in as nature seemed to remind me the calmness of being out of town. STANDING ALONE An oak tree that was standing firmly against the natural energy of a vibrant spring field and the continuous movement of the fluffy clouds in the sky; almost like the tree itself was just watching the world go by.
